It sounds odd because it seems to "expect" so much from a woman. But these are characteristics to look up to and imitate. This idea woman couldn't have done every single one of these things every day either. Each thing is done in it's time and season. I also like that she had "smarts" enough to run her own business, manage her house and finances. I have always loved this chapter – especially the “Wife of Noble Character”.
